User Personas detected after analysing Clarity and client’s survey

User personas detected

P-01: New prospect/lead (primary)

  • Who: Someone signing up for the first time. They don’t know their own level of financial knowledge yet. Onboarding places them in one of four levels: Basics, Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.

  • Digital skill: Low. They want step-by-step guidance and avoid dense forms and dashboards.

  • Goal: Find out their level and get a path or product that fits, without feeling overwhelmed.

  • Success: Finishes the 7-step onboarding wizard without dropping off and gets a level plus a personalised product proposal.

  • Interaction style: Wizard. They see the onboarding wizard, a guided and gamified first dashboard, and a quick-dialog profile edit.

  • Key needs: “Tell me where to start without making me feel unprepared.” They want a guided path, not a huge course catalogue.

  • Open question: Where do leads come from (free course, ads, something else)?

P-02: Intermediate Investor (secondary)

  • Who: Has already done onboarding. Intermediate level, for example Ethical ETF Boost or Stock Mastery. Fairly independent but not an expert trader.

  • Digital skill: Medium. Comfortable with a denser dashboard but doesn’t need P-03’s speed.

  • Goal: See payments, current courses and performance at a glance, and manage the account without a wizard.

  • Frustration (hypothesis): Guided UI such as wizards or quick dialogs feels slow.

  • Interaction style: Dashboard. They use the dense dashboard, Orders (list and detail with a spending chart), Payments and Settings.

  • Key needs: See the status of everything right away and handle orders and payments themselves.

P-03: PRO User / Advanced (secondary)

  • Who: Advanced level, for example Trading Pro Boost, Ethical Spread Boost or Dividends PRO Boost. Very independent, takes higher risk, trades fast across several markets.

  • Digital skill: High. Wants a dense dashboard and speed: few clicks, fresh data, almost no guided steps.

  • Goal: Full control and speed when managing higher-risk investments.

  • Trigger: Logs in often to check positions and returns in real time.

  • Success: Reaches the data they need in as few steps as possible.

  • Interaction style: Dashboard. They use the dense dashboard, with Orders and Payments built for quick access.

  • Anti-persona: Creator/Faceless users. They belong to a separate product and are out of scope.

  • Upsell vs. skills test (P-02/P-03): If a user bought an Intermediate or Advanced product without taking the lower levels, the app tells them by default that they probably have gaps in the basics. It then encourages them to buy the missing lower-level course. Users can opt out by taking a skills test instead.

  • Gamification by level: Challenges are tuned to each persona:

    • P-01: small, frequent wins so they don’t drop off.

    • P-02: challenges that show the gap to Advanced.

    • P-03: harder, exclusive challenges (leaderboards, rare badges) so they don’t get bored.
